Laughter erupted in Kansas State’s Forum Hall on Monday, April 6, as comedy group On the Spot Improv put on its weekly improv show. The group, made up entirely of K-State students, holds a show every Monday at 8 p.m. Each week’s show has a different theme, with titles ranging from “The Starving Artist Show” to “The Spreaster Show,” held on April 6.

Josh Grimes, president of On the Spot Improv, has been a member of the group since 2022. He said the fact that the members are friends makes their shows more enjoyable not only for the group but also for its audience.
“We are such a phenomenal group of friends, and I think that really translates to not only us doing good improv, but also I think that just translates to our audience,” Grimes said. “We created a really great community. A lot of people come to our shows week after week. And we’d love for anybody to join the community we have.”
