Gabrielle Stoner, sophomore in biological systems engineering and two-year Goodnow Hall resident, developed this delicious and dorm-safe apple turnover recipe after receiving a bag of apples from her grandparents’ farm.
“Apples don’t keep very well, especially with no fridge space,” Stoner said. “I had to come up with something to use them for, and apple turnovers were the easiest solution.”
These ooey-gooey treats are cheap, easy and fast, only taking about 30 minutes from start to finish. They may not be pretty, but they are entirely dorm kitchen-safe, giving you a nice sweet treat to start autumn off while following all Housing and Dining Services rules.
