Kansas State has announced it plans to hold a 24-hour Day of Giving on April 9, featuring hourly challenges including the “Purple Power Hour: Most Donors Challenge,” photo challenges and more.
The event is a day of fundraising, during which students, alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, friends and fans can interact with their favorite programs across K-State via social media, competing for bonus dollars, earning support and claiming spots on a leaderboard.
Those who wish to can donate to the cause of their choice or donate to their favorite program’s excellence fund, going to the greatest area of need, helping the university fulfill its land-grant promise.
