Dean Wade, PF, Cleveland Cavaliers
Wade has played a key role as forward for Cleveland. The former Kansas State standout’s latest game against the Orlando Magic on Jan. 26 saw him put up six points, seven rebounds, a steal and a block. The Cavs would win 114-98.
During the Jan. 24 matchup versus the Magic, Wade put up 10 points while shooting 2-2 from three-point range. His defense was on point as well, as he put up three steals and two blocks in the 119-105 victory.
Nae’Qwan Tomlin, SF/PF, Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cavs have another former K-State forward contributing, as Tomlin was serviceable in the recent games against the Magic. In Monday’s matchup, Tomlin finished with eight points and three rebounds.
During the Jan. 24 game, Tomlin showcased some playmaking ability, putting up four assists and nine points. Unfortunately, Tomlin found himself in some foul trouble in this game, finishing with five.
Marquis Nowell, PG, Baskonia
Nowell has been showcasing his talent in the international leagues. In about 16 minutes per game with Baskonia, Nowell averages 6.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
In his most recent game with the Euroleague, Nowell finished with five points, two rebounds and two assists. During a matchup against Bayern Munich on Jan. 17, Nowell finished with nine points, two assists and four steals.
Keyonte Johnson, F, Greensboro Swarm
Johnson is a key scorer on the Swarm, as he averages 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Throughout the Jan. 25 matchup against the Maine Celtics, Johnson finished with 13 points, four assists and five rebounds.
The Swarm played the Celtics on Jan. 23 as well. Johnson finished with a near double-double, dropping 10 points and eight rebounds. The 25-year-old forward also had two blocks in the 122-112 win.
