Santa Claus visit at Manhattan Town Center: Dec. 12
Santa will travel from the North Pole to have a meet and greet with kids at Town Center on Dec. 12, and will be there every day until Christmas from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Some days leading up to Christmas, Santa will host fun events like Caring Santa on Dec. 14 and Storytime with Santa on Dec. 16.
Breakfast with Santa: Dec. 13
The cozy, warm environment of Manhattan welcomes Santa for breakfast at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Santa will eat breakfast at two different sessions: 8:15-11:15 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Families can enjoy a catered breakfast, a take-home ornament craft session and photos with Santa. Members of the FHDC can enjoy this experience for $25, and non-members for $35.
12 Drinks of Christmas (21+): Nov. 13 – Dec. 18
Enjoy a slow crawl of holiday-inspired drinks throughout Downtown Manhattan. With an entire month to make their way around Manhattan to try each location’s exclusive drinks, participants can show their event-issued passports and get them stamped once they try a drink. Once they’ve completed the passport, participants may return it to the Downtown Manhattan office and receive a commemorative glass, while supplies last. Passports are available for purchase at $10 on the Downtown Manhattan website, and can be picked up at Flight Crew Coffee during business hours.
Miracle on Moro (21+): Nov. 29 – Dec. 31
This holiday season, The Hi Lo is open with a pop-up Christmas cocktail bar. The Hi Lo has fun drinks planned for customers every day and night for the rest of the month. This pop-up bar adds to the pre-existing bar scene, offering a change of scenery for the holiday season.
Holiday Harmonies Christmas Program: Dec. 14
The music of the season can be enjoyed in Barbershop Style during the Holiday Harmonies Christmas Program. The Little Apple Chorus and Heartland Harmony are pairing up to perform festive music in Forum Hall. The doors open at 2:30 p.m., with the performance starting at 3 p.m. Tickets are available from chorus members at $15 or at the theatre day of for $20.
Holiday Movie Night: Dec. 21
This holiday season, Liquid Art Winery and Estate is hosting a movie night showing National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” from 5-7 p.m. For only $15 a person, you can enjoy a cozy night in the Barrel Room of the winery. With the purchase of a ticket, you can obtain one Cravings Cup charcuterie and access to a festive holiday-themed cocktail menu.
