A 6-foot-4 sharpshooting guard, Hausen is a career 39.5% 3-point shooter and averaged 6.2 points per game in his sophomore season this year. He switches Wildcat programs with two years of eligibility remaining.

The Amarillo, Texas native completed an official visit to Manhattan last week before committing, choosing K-State over Nebraska and UConn as potential suitors.

Hausen joins guards Dug McDaniel and CJ Jones as K-State portal additions. The Wildcats now have a plethora of options available despite losing freshman RJ Jones earlier this week.

One more guard K-State has its eyes on is Arkansas’ Khalif Battle, who visited Manhattan with Rutgers transfer big Clifford Omoruyi.

Hausen saw the floor for six minutes in the matchup between K-State and Villanova this year, going 0-2 from long distance, a trend he’ll look to buck with Bramlage Coliseum supporting him.

With four roster spots left, K-State still needs a big to join David N’Guessan, the sole center on the 2024-25 roster.
