Lee, Sundell and Gregory named to All-Big 12 teams

Kansas State women’s basketball center Ayoka Lee and guards Serena Sundell and Gabby Gregory were named to All-Big 12 teams from the league’s announcement Tuesday afternoon.

Lee earned the nod for the fourth time in her career with a unanimous selection as well as her second All-Big 12 Defensive team. Lee earned her accolades playing in 23 of 30 games, averaging 19.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game on a 62 FG%.

Sundell joins Lee on the first team, after earning All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in her first two seasons. Sundell averaged career highs with a 53.5 FG% and a 38 3P%. On top of that, Sundell contributed at all aspects of the game with 11.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

Gregory was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention after earning an All-Big 12 First Team in 2022-23. Gregory averaged 8.9 points per game and over three rebounds and assists per game.

K-State was one of three teams with two All-Big 12 First Team players, joining Kansas and Big 12 regular season champion Oklahoma.

The Wildcats next game will come in Round 3 of the Big 12 tournament at 8 p.m. Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri. K-State will play the winner of West Virginia vs. Cincinnati/UCF.
