For students considering enrolling at Kansas State, there’s no better way to get a feel for what it’s like to be a Wildcat than taking a campus tour. Guided by student ambassadors, K-State offers Wildcat Welcome tours, which lead students around many of K-State’s major campus areas, as well as personalized tours depending on a student’s intended major.
One prominent place campus tours visit is K-State’s residence hall districts, where first-year students must live. The Kramer District, one of two districts on campus, includes residence halls Wefald, Goodnow and Marlatt, all named after prominent figures in K-State and Manhattan history.

Completed in 2016, Wefald Hall is K-State’s newest residence hall and can house approximately 90 students on each of its six residence floors. Connected to all three residence halls in the Kramer District is Kramer Dining Center, which was also completed in 2016. Kramer Dining Center is the larger of K-State’s two dining centers and features a wide range of food options for students to choose from.
