Cooper Beebe, C, Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys picked up two big victories versus the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. In the game against the Eagles on Nov. 23, Beebe and the team struggled, going down 21-0 early. Despite the early struggles, the team bounced back with a 24-21 win.
Beebe got to play on Thanksgiving against the Chiefs four days later on Nov. 27. The Cowboys finished with 300 passing yards, as Beebe and the offensive line brought protection up front. The Cowboys won the nailbiter 31-28.
Dalton Risner, RG, Cincinnati Bengals
In the 26-20 loss versus the New England Patriots on Nov. 23, the run game held up well thanks to Risner, along with the team. The Bengals’ offense produced 120 rushing yards in the loss.
Risner, who also got to play on Thanksgiving, helped the Bengals earn a big 32-14 win over division rivals the Baltimore Ravens. Besides one penalty in the first quarter, Risner played well, playing in all 83 snaps.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders faced off against the Cleveland Browns on Nov. 23, losing 24-10. Although the final result was a loss, Lockett put up a season-high 62 receiving yards on four receptions.
In the game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Nov. 30, Lockett’s stat line was drastically different. Just one reception for 11 yards came in the 31-14 loss.
Jacob Parrish, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
On Nov. 23, Parrish and the Buccaneers were blown out by the Los Angeles Rams 34-7. Parrish recorded six total tackles, four being solo.
The Buccaneers bounced back against the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 30, winning 20-17. In the contest, Parrish finished with seven tackles, six of which were solo. So far in his rookie season, Parrish has 57 combined tackles, two sacks and has only allowed two receiving touchdowns.
D.J. Reed, CB, Detroit Lions
Reed made his return on Nov. 23 versus the New York Giants after missing the previous six weeks due to a hamstring injury. In the 34-27 overtime win, Reed finished with two solo tackles.
Reed is the third player to also play on Thanksgiving, as the Lions lost 31-24 against division rivals the Green Bay Packers. Reed, in just his second game back, recorded a forced fumble with two tackles.
