According to Eclipse 2024, the eclipse will have a magnitude of 87% in Manhattan, with prime viewing at 1:51 p.m. The closest city with 100% magnitude to Manhattan is Valley Springs, Arkansas, about 5.5 hours away.

K-State National Science Teaching Association and Project STEMM Opportunity Alliance — 1:40 p.m. on Anderson Hall lawn
Sunset Zoo — 12:30-3:30 p.m. at Limestone Pavillion
Eclipse viewers should wear protective eyewear from a certified company or make their own eyewear by creating a pinhole camera.
