A sour Showdown

While the snow didn’t stop Kansas State fans from attending the Sunflower Showdown at Bramlage Coliseum on January 24, the hot scoring streak from the Kansas Jayhawks in the second half did.

Wildcats snap four-game skid with largest win of the season

Kansas State made quick work against Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 8 as the Wildcats came ready for the Delta Devils. This would be K-State’s first win after a four-game losing streak, and a big win it was. The Wildcats had their largest point margin of the season so far, leading by 59 points.

K-State eliminated in NCAA second round

A packed Bob Devaney Sports Center brought high energy, competitive drive and emotion to a matchup between Kansas State and No. 1 Nebraska on Saturday. K-State lost to Nebraska in three sets, 17-25, 21-25, 16-25, despite several strong momentum swings from the Wildcats. 
David Castillo drives to the basket against Bowling Green. The Wildcats lost 82-66 against the Falcons on Dec. 1. Castillo had 22 points along with 1 assist and 1 rebound.

Heads hung, and disappointment spread through Bramlage Coliseum as many fans filed out with two minutes left in the game. “We didn't deserve to win,” K-State head coach Jerome Tang said. “We didn't deserve to wear a K-State uniform tonight. If I could have walked out, I'd have walked out a lot earlier. I'd have left with some of the fans.”

Snowy senior day

Rain and breezy winds quickly turned into snow flurries and gusty howls. While pregame conditions were far from ideal — with snow accumulating on the field at Bill Snyder Family Stadium — the weather began to settle as kickoff arrived, setting the stage for the Wildcats’ Senior Day matchup with Colorado. In their final home game of the 2025 season, Kansas State found a way to persevere, pushing past the Buffaloes for a 24-17 win and sending the seniors out with a victory.
PJ Haggerty drives past the defense to the basket. Haggerty led the team with 31 points and 10 rebounds. The Wildcats defeated Tulsa 84-83 on Nov 17 at Bramlage Coliseum.

K-State Upset At Home Against South Dakota

South Dakota forward Patience Williams hit a game-winning three as the Coyotes upset Kansas State in Manhattan. The three-pointer by Williams was her first points of the game as it gave South Dakota the 72-71 lead, which they would hold on to as K-State missed at the buzzer.
