With Election Day rapidly approaching, Kansas residents have less than a week left to register for voting. Registration in person or online must be completed by Oct. 15. Registration sent through the mail must be postmarked no later than the same date.
Advance voting in Riley County begins Oct. 16 and ends Nov. 4. Advance voting is located at the Riley County Office Building, 110 Courthouse Plaza on the second floor or at the Kansas State Student Union in the Bluemont Room.
Advance voting locations are not open every day, so consult the rileycountyks.gov website’s schedule before heading out to vote.
Requests for a mail ballot must be received by Oct. 29, and that ballot must be sent back by Nov. 5 at the close of polls. Mail in ballots can also be returned in-person by Nov. 5.
