Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Lockett finished Week 5 with 75 receiving yards off only four receptions. The former Pro-Bowl receiver averaged 18.8 yards per reception, including a long catch of 33 yards.
In his 10th year with the Seahawks, Lockett couldn’t carry them to a win, falling 29-20 to the Giants largely because of a late blocked field goal returned for a touchdown.
Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE, Kansas City Chiefs
The young and promising defensive end recorded one quarterback hit in the 26-13 victory against the Saints on Monday night.
Although this was the quietest week of the season for Anudike-Uzomah, the 2023 first-round selection’s improvement from last season is apparent.
D.J. Reed, CB, New York Jets
Reed racked up three solo tackles and two assists, combining for five combined tackles in the Jets’ 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, who moved to 5-0.
Reed will have a new head coach in the Big Apple soon, since New York’s head coach Robert Saleh was fired on Tuesday morning. The Jets’ defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich was named interim head coach.
Cooper Beebe, C, Dallas Cowboys
Beebe helped the Cowboys earn a much-needed victory on the road against a stout Steelers defense.
The Cowboys won 20-17 in Beebe’s fifth start of his rookie season, helping them to a 3-2 record.
Cody Whitehair, G, Las Vegas Raiders
Whitehair continues as a rotational guard in his first season in Las Vegas. The Raiders were dismantled by their division rivals, the Denver Broncos, 34-18.
Cornelius Lucas, LT, Washington Commanders
In his 11th year as a pro, Lucas is the only Wildcat with more experience than Lockett.
Lucas has used his experience to help protect rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who led the Commanders to outperform expectations. Washington defeated the Browns in a 34-13 blowout, making the Commanders 4-1 on the season.
