Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE, Kansas City Chiefs
Anudike-Uzomah helped guide the Chiefs’ defense in staying undefeated last week, collecting three solo tackles and one assist with the team’s third-best PFF run defense grade of 75.1.
Seeing an increased role this season, Anudike-Uzomah has stepped up to his first-round expectations. However, with Kansas City trading for pass rusher Josh Uche, Anudike-Uzomah’s role could be lessened.
The second-year pro has helped this Chiefs defense to its ranking of fifth in points allowed this season.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Last week was a quiet week for Lockett. The veteran wideout finished with three targets, one reception, and nine yards as the Seahawks lost 31-10 in a blowout to the Buffalo Bills.
Lockett and the Seahawks will look to bounce back against the Rams this Sunday.
Cooper Beebe, C, Dallas Cowboys
Coming off the bye week, Beebe played every single snap in the 30-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
On the Cowboys’ first touchdown drive, receiver KaVonte Turpin dropped the ball on an 11-yard run, but Beebe made the fumble recovery to save the Cowboys drive.
Beebe’s Wildcat teammate in Dallas, Deuce Vaughn, hasn’t seen a snap since Week 4.
D.J. Reed, CB, New York Jets
Missing a couple of weeks due to a groin injury, Reed was back for Week 8 against the Patriots. The veteran cornerback finished with three solo tackles and one assist.
The Jets could not beat division rival New England Patriots though, losing 25-22.
