Jacob Parrish, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In the game versus the Detroit Lions, Parrish struggled in the opening drive. The young corner was flagged for illegal contact on third and six. This penalty then led to a 27-yard touchdown by the Lions.
A couple of questionable plays wouldn’t define Parrish, though, as he finished with a solid five total tackles, two of which were solo. The Buccaneers lost 24-9 in the Monday night matchup.
Marques Sigle, S, San Francisco 49ers
In his seventh start of the year, Sigle was in on 20 total snaps in the Sunday night game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Sigle finished with two total tackles (one solo) in the 20-10 victory.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Free Agent
In Sunday’s game versus the New England Patriots, Lockett pulled in two receptions for 18 yards. Unexpectedly, though, this would be Lockett’s last game with the Titans. The 33-year-old receiver asked for and was granted his release the day after Sunday’s game. In seven games with Tennessee, the veteran receiver hauled in only 10 catches.
A few teams could use a veteran like Locket; it’s just a matter of time until a team pulls the trigger and signs the now former Titan.
Dalton Risner, LG, Cincinnati Bengals
Before the Thursday night matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bengals ranked last in the NFL in rushing yards. Risner and the offensive line helped the Bengals rack up a season high 142 rushing yards, showing drastic improvement in the run game.
There were a few different plays where Risner was partly responsible for creating holes for the run game. One play specifically saw Risner help open up a hole for a 37-yard rush.
Cornelius Lucas and KT Leveston, RT, Cleveland Browns
The Browns were dominant against the Miami Dolphins, winning 31-6. The game saw two former K-State players split reps at the right tackle position, as Lucas played 27 snaps and Leveston logged 30.
