In the early morning of Sept. 3, the Arma police department arrested Jayshawn Ross for possession and distribution of marijuana. Ross was booked into Crawford County jail around 3:15 A.M. with a $15,000 bond according to records.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, a spokesperson for K-State Athletics announced that Ross is no longer with the team. Ross was a defensive end who transferred to K-State after spending the year prior with Alabama.
No other information regarding Ross’s release has been announced.
