Loco Lime is one of Aggieville’s latest restaurant additions, approaching its one-month anniversary and having recently opened its rooftop patio for service. With its variety of fresh flavors and menu choices, Loco Lime is sure to earn its spot as a culinary staple in Aggieville in the coming years.
One of the first things that stood out to me was the vibrant colors the restaurant uses in its decor. The space has a modern feel, with neon signs, a greenery wall and white hardwood floors, making it a stylish place for a night out with the family or an evening with friends.
As I walked into the restaurant, an employee immediately greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. Throughout my meal, customer service remained constant. All staff contributed to checking in on my table, and food came out promptly despite being busy at 6 p.m. on a Friday.
The menu pricing was a pleasant surprise, with most dishes ranging from $12 to $14. I ordered the homemade stuffed jalapenos, which were served to my table in only 10 minutes. They were well made, came out at the perfect temperature and are an appetizer I will return to.
For my entree, I ordered the Mango Lime Chicken served with rice and my choice of beans, and I finished the night with one of the four dessert options: some divine sopapillas.
Ultimately, everything I had during my meal at Loco Lime tasted fresh, was very well plated and left me happy with my purchase.
I would give Loco Lime four out of five stars. I removed one star because there was room for improvement in the restaurant’s cleanliness. When seated, my table had spots I could tell were missed in cleaning and areas on the floors had spots that could have used some cleaning.
Besides that, this restaurant could seamlessly provide quality service and food while remaining budget-friendly for those traveling through Aggieville. So for anyone looking for a vibrant night out, grab a friend and try it for yourself!
