Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE, Kansas City Chiefs
In a thriller between the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs, second-year defensive end Anudike-Uzomah recorded the first solo sack of his career.
A first-round pick last year, Anudike-Uzomah forced a fumble with the sack and collected two tackles.
The Chiefs beat the Falcons 22-17, thanks in part to its defense. Anudike-Uzomah continues to grow week by week in his rotational role.
Skylar Thompson, QB, Miami Dolphins
Thompson, making his third career start at quarterback for the injured Tua Tagovailoa, left with a rib injury.
Before leaving, the third-year pro went 13-of-19 for 107 yards in the Dolphins’ loss to Seattle.
D.J. Reed, CB, New York Jets
Reed recorded two solo tackles against the New England Patriots this past week.
The former Wildcat missed Week 2 because of injury but helped the Jets’ defense put on a defensive masterclass, only allowing the Patriots to score a field goal as the Jets won 24-3.
With a healthy Reed and off back-to-back wins, the Jets have gained momentum as they face the Denver Broncos in Week 4.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Lockett, Seattle’s wideout veteran, caught five receptions for 46 yards in the blowout 24-3 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Lockett owns the second-most receiving yards in Seattle Seahawks’ history with 8,132 yards in his 10-year career.
The Seahawks, now 3-0, were hot to start the season. The Detroit Lions are next on Seattle’s schedule for Week 4 in a presumably competitive matchup.
Cooper Beebe, C, Dallas Cowboys
In his third career start at center, Beebe only allowed two pressures in the loss against the Baltimore Ravens. Beebe’s pressure rate ranks among the best for rookie offensive linemen.
The Cowboys and Beebe look to bounce back as a divisional matchup against the New York Giants approaches for Week 4.
Deuce Vaughn, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Vaughn, a second-year back, had two rushes for five yards and a reception for eight yards in the Cowboys’ loss.
Baltimore made it a problem for the Cowboys to run the ball but Vaughn continues to see more playing time in Year 2 as a pro.
Ben Sinnott, TE, Washington Commanders
A second-round rookie, Sinnott was in for 26 offensive snaps and six special teams plays, helping the Commanders in a 38-33 win at Cincinnati.
