K-State’s new Wildcat OneCard system allows students to manage accounts and finances in one online interface using their K-State ID.
According to a press release by the K-State Student Union, the Wildcat OneCard contains functionality for:
- Meal plan management
- Declining balance activities online or via mobile devices
- Transaction history
- Photo upload
- Campus-wide vending purchases
- Virtual ID card/mobile credentials
Audrey Taggart-Kagdis, assistant director of marketing for the Student Union, said the Wildcat OneCard provides students with a more user-friendly way to manage and organize.
“We used to have a different software provider and we went through the RFP [Request For Proposal] process to select a new one [Atrium] that has more functionality for our students,” Taggart-Kagdis said. “From a customer service standpoint, it’s a better experience for our students to be able to manage their accounts and see their balances and all of that stuff. There is alerts that can be set up, and it has other capabilities that we’re hoping to turn on in the future.”
Taggart-Kagdis said students can access their Wildcat OneCard functionalities online.
“If they [students] go to the Union website … they’ll get onto their main ID center webpage and there’s a ‘manage my ID’ button,” Taggart-Kagdis said. “… When they go to the ‘manage my ID’ tab, there is going to be a new button at the top that’s just gonna say ‘Wildcat OneCard.’”
Students with questions or concerns about their Wildcat OneCard can visit the K-State ID Center in the Union.
