Kansas State men’s basketball found a big man in the portal. Arkansas transfer Baye Fall committed to head coach Jerome Tang and staff April 27, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.
Fall, a 6-foot-11 center, didn’t see much playing time during his freshman campaign with Arkansas, averaging 0.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
However, the former McDonald’s All-American enters Manhattan with three years of eligibility remaining and an abundance of untapped potential at the college level.
A native of Dakar, Senegal, Fall becomes the second center on K-State’s roster, joining a fellow overseas player: senior David N’Guessan.
Fall is the fourth commit to K-State during the portal cycle, joining guards Dug McDaniel, CJ Jones and Brendan Hausen.
Guard Khalif Battle, another Arkansas transfer, completed an official visit to the Little Apple this week. Battle is a portal priority for Tang’s staff, with four scholarship spots open for the upcoming season.
