Kansas State men’s basketball forward Arthur Kaluma has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft via his Instagram. He has the opportunity to maintain his eligibility for another season at K-State, but his statement and NBA potential suggest his time in Manhattan is over.

Kaluma, a 6-foot-7 wing, averaged 14.4 points and 7.0 rebounds for the Wildcats this season. He transferred from Creighton with two years of eligibility, earning two Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors throughout his lone season in the Little Apple.
Kaluma’s decision leaves K-State with four remaining roster spots for the upcoming season, spots that head coach Jerome Tang will look to fill with multiple transfers visiting Manhattan this week.
As Jerome Tang said yesterday on @TheGameKMAN, they hope to have this class done in 2-to-7 days. They aren’t messing around. Battle would be a phenomenal get. https://t.co/eBCZfBMRAg

Kaluma was a projected second-round pick after his sophomore season at Creighton. His decision to turn pro comes after a season that saw his draft stock fall, but the talented wing will have professional opportunities nonetheless.
