Kansas State’s campus will be closed due to inclement weather Wednesday. The university notified students through its K-State Alert system.
“All campuses limited operations 2/12,” the alert said. “In-person classes and activities canceled; online classes will meet.”
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning in Manhattan until 6 p.m. Wednesday, predicting 6-8 inches of snow Tuesday night.
According to the WWA Summary by the National Weather Service, “Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.”
It is planned campus will reopen for classes on Thursday.
