Senior wide receiver Tyler Lockett raises his arms in frustration after being tackled by a horde of UCLA defenders following an eleven yard reception during the first quarter of No. 11 K-State's 35-40 loss to No. 14 UCLA in the Valero Alamo Bowl Jan. 2, 2015, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Jacob Parrish, CB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay and the Seattle Seahawks had a shootout, with the Buccaneers coming out on top 38-35. Although this means many big passing plays were given up, Parrish still posted nine tackles, with five being solo.
Parrish saw a much bigger role this game as the Buccaneers were banged up at the corner position. The young rookie was trusted to play nearly the whole game and did not disappoint.
Marques Sigle, S, San Francisco 49ers
Fellow rookie Marques Sigle had himself a week as well. In the tightly contested matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, Sigle posted seven solo tackles. The safety would finish with 13 total tackles, being a big factor in the run support.
In overtime, Sigle was partly credited with a clutch fourth-and-1 tackle, effectively sealing the game 26-23.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Tennessee Titans
Lockett finished with four receptions for six yards with no receiving touchdowns, but the veteran wideout still found a way into the endzone. After a tipped interception, the ball was fumbled, and Lockett recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown.
Kaelen Culpepper, INF, Minnesota Twins
Culpepper earned the 2025 Twins minor league player of the year as the young up-and-comer is just getting started. The first round pick put up a .289 average, 20 home runs, 64 RBI and 25 steals.
DJ Giddens, RB, Indianapolis Colts
The fifth-round pick saw the most production as a pro since his week one performance. Giddens finished with five attempts and 22 yards as the Colts steamrolled the Las Vegas Raiders 40-6.
KT Leveston, LT, Cleveland Browns
In his second game, starting at left tackle for the Browns, Leveston allowed five pressures and a sack. He was also penalized three times in the 21-17 loss versus the Minnesota Vikings in London.
